EIS Rocks
To tell about EIS you just say simply EIS Rocks….. Full of Eclipse Presentations
But to make it clear for all let me tell you guys how it was a fantastic two day for me.
As soon as I stepped into the hall it was a grand welcome with cool environment and pleasant mantra of ‘OM’ which any Indian would love to be in such a environment.
Program started of with the said Don in the field of computers “Microsoft” where there is no share in the world of Eclipse he gave us the light about how there are competent in the world of Eclipse by introducing the term called “Interoperability”. They have a product called 'One Installer' which will download all that you want for a web site and install it on your server.
After that it was Ilya Shinkarenko's workshop wow what a seminar man person who doesn’t know anything will fell like start developing application using RCP application he was so clear in his teaching.
Lunch was provided by Chanceroy Pavillion to their ***** standards.
Next was the session of EMF guys I thought its Electro motive Force as I wasn’t knowing anything about it.. I will describe this session
Electro : Hey it was electrifying session since even each min in the session was not wasted as their were to delegates called by name Chetak and Malli who started doing modeling in front of us with their technical talent by defining Modeling Framework. Concept of two speakers supporting each other I loved it and they really won the heart of every Audience who attended session.
Motive : Chetak and Malli motivated the audience with their speech delivery.
Force : They would have forced many managers and developers to develop the project using EMF.
"AT the end of the day hand was full of Goodies and mind was full of Eclipse plugins plugins...”
Day two we again begin with the great Ilya’s session.. hey he was using RCP as an example and he is showing all the design patterns which you have implement in RCP with out knowing yourself that’s ok is what we were thinking and he shows that you are using MVC framework but we have just used Core Java and some components for constructing widgets. This guy is simply superb.
Next was all about bundles and its usages. Sameera Jayasoma is a srilankan he proved theoretically practically why plugins(bundles) framework is ruling the world of Eclipse.
Overall its was two days which was worth.
Saltmarch organizers are very helpful they kept on guiding audience through the speeches and SMS.

Cheaper than Mumbai, Delhi: a home in UK
Prices are falling by about one percent month-on-month and it’s estimated that overall there would be a 12 percent decrease in prices this year. Next year there could be a further slide of 6 to 8 percent.
A report by JLLM says the UP property market will pick up again only towards the end of 2010. That's when prices could rise by 8 to 9 percent per annum. The average rate of return on residential property in the UK is over 10 percent and experts say the returns will continue to remain optimistic.
"Our projection between 2010 to 2013, is the highest price rate growth return, by an average of 8 to 9% per annum and then, in the longer term, probably follow an average of about 6% per annum," says James Thomas, Head-UK Residential, Jones Lang LaSalle.
According to the report, the number of Indians buying houses in the UK, is set to increase hugely, by 2017. The report says Indian residents could spend about 10-15 billion pounds on UK residential property, over that period. While currently, this figure is over 80 times lower.
"When you are buying property in London, you are not having to finance the construction upfront. In India I understand, that that's the case. In the UK, you put deposit down, which might be 20 or 30%, & then the balance is through debt, which is payable on completion. So the drawer on the financial capital of the purchaser is less to buy in the UK, than perhaps it would be elsewhere," says Paul Vallone, MD, Berkeley Homes Ltd.
Currently, property prices in cities like London and Birmingham, are between 20 to 60 percent lower than in major Indian cities, like Mumbai and Delhi. With prices falling further, it will probably be easier to afford a house in the UK, than within the country, where prices in some pockets, still remain bullish, despite the slump in the property market.

Lunar Eclipse – Chandra Grahan in August 17 2008 in India
It will be visible in South America, United Kingdom, Europe and in some parts of United States on Saturday, August 16, 2008 (night). In India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Malaysia on August 17, 2008 (Night to early morning). It is a partial lunar eclipse in all places.
A lunar eclipse occurs when Sun, Earth and Moon are in a single line with Earth in the middle. If this occurs, the Moon does not receive light from the Sun because it is in the shadow of the Earth, and thus the Moon becomes invisible.

In Hinduism, the reason for the Surya Grahan and Chandra Grahan (Solar and Lunar Eclipse) is the myth associated with Rahu gobbling up Sun (Surya) and Moon (Chandra).
Fasting (Upvaas) is done by certain communities in Hindu religion during Chandra Grahanam. The fast begins about 9 hours before the beginning of Chandra Grahan. People also take a bath in cold and chant mantras dedicated to Lord Vishnu or Shiva like the Ashtakshara Mantra or Mrityunjaya Mantra. This is done whenever Surya and Chandra are under the influence of Rahu.
Since the Chandra Grahan on August 17, 2008 is taking place at night and early morning most people will not see it and therefore it is not going to have any major effect.
